Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
At Propósito Solar we take care of your personal data. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what your rights are, under Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25,326 and, for users in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is a translation for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The database controller is [RAZÓN SOCIAL O NOMBRE DEL TITULAR], tax ID (CUIT) [CUIT], with registered address at [DOMICILIO LEGAL]. For personal data enquiries: [EMAIL PARA DATOS PERSONALES].
2. Data we process
- Birth data: name, date, time and place of birth, needed to calculate astrological charts.
- Account data: the name, email and profile photo Google shares with us when you sign in with your Google account, plus any details you add (phone, country, city, language). We never receive or store your Google password.
- Birth data of other people you add to your account (for example, for a synastry). By adding it, you confirm you have their permission.
- Messages you send through the contact form and your email if you subscribe to the newsletter.
- Purchase and billing data: services purchased, amounts, tax details. We do not store card details: Mercado Pago or PayPal process them.
- Service content: questions, notes and consultation summaries.
- Technical data: IP address (stored pseudonymised), browser type, language and the cookies described in the Cookie Policy.
Birth data and consultation content may reveal personal or intimate matters. We treat them with special confidentiality and only to provide the service.
3. How we use your data
- Calculate and display your astrological charts.
- Provide the services you purchase and manage your account.
- Send you solar return reminders and loyalty perks, if you agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
- Determine which country you visit from, based on your IP address, to show prices in the right currency and payment method. We use a local DB-IP database (CC BY 4.0): your IP is not sent to third parties.
- Keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
4. Legal basis
We process your data with your free, express and informed consent (art. 5, Law 25,326), to perform the contract you enter into with us, and to meet legal obligations. For EEA users, the bases are those of art. 6 GDPR: consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest in site security.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.
5. Artificial intelligence
To speed up writing interpretations, we use artificial intelligence tools that draft texts from your chart data and our astrologer's writing. We only send the data needed for that task. We choose providers whose commercial terms state they do not use this data to train their own models.
Every report is reviewed by a person before delivery. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers that help us deliver the service and act on our instructions:
- Google, for signing in with your Google account.
- Web hosting and database.
- Email delivery.
- Payment processors: Mercado Pago and PayPal.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), to measure in aggregate how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies. We do not send it your name, email or birth data.
- Artificial intelligence provider.
- Public authorities, when required by law.
7. International transfers
Some providers may be located outside Argentina. In those cases, transfers comply with art. 12 of Law 25,326 and the rules of the Agency for Access to Public Information, through contractual clauses or other adequate safeguards, or with your consent.
8. Retention
- Account data, charts and summaries: while your account is active. If you delete it, we erase or anonymise them within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Purchase and billing data: for the periods required by law (up to 10 years, art. 328, Civil and Commercial Code).
- Charts calculated without an account: not kept beyond the session unless you choose to save them.
- Cookie consent records: for as long as needed to prove your choice.
9. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, update and erasure at any time (arts. 14–16, Law 25,326). We answer access requests within 10 calendar days and rectification or erasure requests within 5 business days.
If you are in the EEA, you also have the right to data portability, to object, to request restriction and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
From "My account" you can correct your details, download a copy of everything we store and delete your account at any time.
You can also write to [EMAIL PARA DATOS PERSONALES] stating your name and the right you want to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), sign-in through Google with no passwords of our own, sessions of which we only store an encrypted fingerprint, limits against abusive attempts, restricted database access and backups.
11. Minors
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. Data about minors may only be entered by their parent or legal guardian, who gives consent on their behalf.
12. Cookies
We use cookies as explained in the Cookie Policy, which forms part of this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version with its update date and, if the change is significant, notify you by email or on the site.
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as set out in article 14, paragraph 3 of Argentine Law No. 25,326. The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION (AAIP), as the supervisory authority of Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims filed by anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the rules on personal data protection.
